Data collected and how it is collected
When you submit the contact or sourcing request forms, we process the information you provide, including name, company, business email address, telephone number (optional), country, enquiry type, and your message or product/project description. The sourcing dialog may additionally include optional details on quantity, destination, target date and budget. In addition, Base44 as the hosting and application platform may process technical connection data required to deliver and secure the service.
Purpose of processing
The collected data is processed exclusively to handle and respond to business enquiries and sourcing requests.
Legal basis
Where an enquiry is made with a view to entering into a contract or obtaining a quotation, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract). For other general business enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to receive, manage and respond to business communications.
Storage and disclosure
Nordstone UG is the controller for enquiries submitted through this website. Base44, Inc. provides the application hosting, backend and database infrastructure and acts as a processor under its Data Processing Addendum. Base44 may use subprocessors to provide its services. No automated emails are sent. The contents of the forms are not shared with other third parties. Personal data may be processed outside the EEA, including in the United States, using applicable safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and/or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Cookies and tracking
The website code does not use analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking or advertising scripts are intentionally integrated by NORDSTONE. Base44 may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms at platform level to provide and secure the service. No consent-requiring analytics or marketing tools are currently integrated by NORDSTONE.
Local browser storage
The website stores your selected language preference (German, English or Arabic) in the browser's local storage (localStorage). This is not personal data. This storage can be removed by clearing your browser data.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served locally with the website. No requests are made to external font providers such as Google Fonts.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access your personal data, request rectification or erasure, request restriction of processing, object to processing, and receive data portability where applicable (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). You may exercise these rights by contacting info@nordstonegroup.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Retention and deletion
Enquiry data is stored only for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the enquiry. If no contractual relationship results and no statutory retention obligation applies, the data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively completed and the information is no longer required. Where statutory retention obligations apply, the relevant data is retained for the legally required period and deleted afterwards.
